Catechesis of the
Good Shepherd

Our program is growing! With new atrium space and ongoing catechist formation, we currently offer CGS through third grade, and are looking toward adding more levels and opportunities for students to grow closer to Jesus with this internationally renowned program.

FAITH FORMATION

Music, Theatre and More

St. Justin has a long history of musical theater productions. Occurring every other year, fifth through eighth graders work in cooperation with our staff and the STAGES St. Louis Company to produce outstanding musical theater for the enjoyment of our students and parish. Our 2024 production was The Little Mermaid and students will help choose the 2026 musical performance later this year!

FINE ARTS

Virtues in Practice

Our religious curriculum provides a solid foundation for students’ Catholic identity and our additional focus on virtues promotes character formation through the lens of faith, integrating spiritual, moral, and social development.

WHOLE CHILD DEVELOPMENT

Family Activities

Our school family groups and buddy program builds relationships between students of all ages, and enhances our strong sense of community.

COMMUNITY

Makerspace and EXPLORE Classes

All grade levels engage in Makerspace activities to learn key STEM concepts, and our Middle School EXPLORE classes offer elective opportunities in a variety of subject areas.

EXPERIENCE-BASED LEARNING

We are the last remaining parish in the Archdiocese of St. Louis to operate our school with the stewardship model. As costs have increased in recent years and more parishes have turned to a tuition-based model to support their schools, our community remains committed to this philosophy. A strong sense of community and fellowship sets SJM apart, and it stems from this deep-rooted sense that we are all partners in a shared mission.
