Homilies
Since we are live streaming masses, and those masses are available online afterwards, I am not publishing my homilies in print, as you can watch/hear them on our recorded live stream HERE.
Thanks for your understanding.

What is one of the more difficult questions to answer in life? 10th Sunday B 2018
It is an innocent, even playful question when you are playing Hide and seek. It is a complicated question when you are working through a problem in a relationship, or trying to define the parameters of what works and what does not. And a guilt inducing one when you are caught doing wrong.

If you could receive Eucharist via a drive through window at church all the time, would you do so? – Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ 2018
I could see the advertisement campaign already. “Fast Food Jesus, the quickest, most nourishing food in town.”

What do you know about Dark Energy? Trinity Sunday -2018
Several years ago, America magazine had an article about the cosmos and recent developments in the study of the universe and world around us.

How cautious are you? (Can you trust the wind?)
It was one of those more salvific moments on a golf course. It was my first trip to Ireland to play golf.

What was Jesus’ final gift to the disciples/church? – Ascension 2018
Though you can argue many answers to this gospel question, all of them scripturally based, I wonder if his final gift was not the “peace” of the resurrection accounts, nor even the sending of the Spirit at Pentecost. Rather, I wonder if Jesus’ final gift to the disciples/church was that he left us.

What does laying down you life look like? 6th Easter B 2018
When I taught HS, I did not have much time for TV. Except for late on Sunday nights. I would settle into one of the variants of Star Trek – Deep Space 9.
