Fun in the Sun in June at Cub Scout Camp

In June, 3 of our Pack 116 Cub Scouts attended week long Arrow of Light Camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation.  Connor Dill, Andrew Kemp and Nick Weber learned many new skills and had a lot of fun in the process.  They learned about nature, hiked into the mud cave, shot BB guns and bows and arrows, learned about life saving skills in the pool, cooked over coals at their campsite, climbed a rappelling tower, learned how to tie new knots, and even earned a STEM award.  They worked together and with their new friends on our campsite to create memories and skills that they will use for years to come.

Cub Scouts is a program for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We welcome all youth from SJM parish or elsewhere. It doesn’t matter if you go to day school or PSR.  All boys and girls are invited to join Cub Pack 116 for the coming year.

In late August, you will have the opportunity to learn about what makes our parish Cub Scout program special. Watch for details.

If you have questions about Cub Pack 116, please contact Cubmaster Kevin Dill at kevinjdill@gmail.com.
