November begins with All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, two important days when we remember those who have gone before us in faith. This week’s FORMED selections offer an opportunity to reflect on eternal life, learn about a great Church reformer, and begin looking ahead to Advent.
This week’s featured programs include:

How to Advent | Episode 1
Advent begins November 29 this year, but it’s not too early to start preparing. The first episode of How to Advent introduces the Advent calendar and helps families think about ways to make the coming season meaningful. Follow along with this series over the next few weeks as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The Story of Death | Eternal Rest | Episode 1
What does our Catholic faith teach us about death? In this first episode of Eternal Rest, we consider where death came from, what it means for us, and why Christians understand it differently because of Jesus Christ. As we observe All Souls’ Day on November 2, this program offers a timely opportunity to reflect on Christ’s victory over death and our hope in the Resurrection.

Saint Charles Borromeo: The Good Shepherd
St. Charles Borromeo could have enjoyed a comfortable life of wealth and influence in 16th-century Italy. Instead, he devoted himself to reforming the Church and serving the people of the Archdiocese of Milan. This episode of True Reformers tells the story of a bishop who took his responsibilities seriously and worked tirelessly for the good of his people. His feast day is November 4.
St. Justin Martyr parishioners have free access to all three programs through our parish subscription to FORMED. Visit formed.org to watch. If you haven’t registered, go to signup.formed.org and select St. Justin Martyr Parish.
