This week on FORMED, meet three men whose lives helped shape the Church across very different times and places.
This week’s featured programs include:
St. Luke | Catholic Saints looks at the beloved physician, companion of St. Paul, and author of both the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. Dr. Ben Akers and Taylor Kemp explore what we know about St. Luke and the important role his writings play in our understanding of Jesus and the early Church.
Pope John Paul II is a feature film starring Jon Voight and Cary Elwes. It follows Karol Wojtyła from his youth in Poland through the difficult years of World War II and communism and into his long pontificate as Pope John Paul II.
Slaves and Kings tells the story of St. Anthony Mary Claret, a 19th-century archbishop, missionary, writer, social reformer, and founder of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
St. Justin Martyr parishioners can watch all three through our parish FORMED subscription. Visit the FORMED website and select St. Justin Martyr Parish to sign up for free access.
