This week’s FORMED selections take us from devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus to the lives of two saints whose faith left a lasting mark on the Church.
This week’s featured programs include:
An Ardent Heart follows writer Lupe Valdes as she investigates the apparitions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Her search leads her into the history and evidence surrounding the mystical revelations received by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque.
For the feast of St. Teresa of Avila, spend some time with St. Teresa of Avila, an epic miniseries filmed on location in Spain. The production tells the story of the Carmelite reformer, mystic, writer, and Doctor of the Church.
The week concludes with St. Ignatius of Antioch. Dr. Ben Akers and Taylor Kemp discuss this early Christian bishop and martyr, who remained faithful to Christ as he faced death.
St. Justin Martyr parishioners have access to these programs and the full FORMED library through our parish subscription. Visit the FORMED website and select St. Justin Martyr Parish when signing up.
