As another school year begins, we invite our parish family to join us in praying for our college students as they prepare to head back to campus. During all Masses on the weekend of August 8–9, we will offer a special blessing for students beginning a new semester or returning to college.
Whether they are attending school nearby or traveling far from home, our students remain an important part of the St. Justin Martyr family. This blessing is a way to remind them that they are surrounded by the prayers and support of their parish community.
Each college student will also receive a small gift as a reminder of God’s love and the encouragement of their parish family. As they begin this new chapter, we pray that God will guide them, strengthen their faith, bless their studies, and keep them safe throughout the year.
We look forward to welcoming all of our college students at Mass on August 8–9 as we send them forth with our prayers and best wishes.
