Lent is a sacred time to pause, reflect, and turn our hearts back to the Lord. One of the most meaningful ways to do this is through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. During Lent, the Church invites us to seek God’s mercy and healing in a deeper way as we prepare for Easter.
St. Justin Martyr will hold a Lenten Penance Service on Monday, March 23, in the church from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The evening will begin with a short prayer service to help everyone enter into a spirit of repentance and hope.
After the prayer service, several priests will be available to hear individual confessions. This format allows for a more peaceful experience and helps reduce waiting time. Whether it has been a long time or just a short while since your last confession, you are warmly welcomed.
