Our parish offers free access to FORMED, a digital library filled with Catholic movies, shows, audio talks, and studies for all ages. This week’s selections invite us to reflect on sacrifice, faithfulness, and courage as we learn more about the early Church and the witnesses who gave their lives for Christ.

This week’s featured programs include:

The Presentation
This reflection on the Joyful Mystery of the Rosary invites us into the moment when Mary and Joseph present Jesus in the Temple. The offering Mary makes points ahead to the Cross and finds its fulfillment at Calvary. This program helps viewers see how this mystery connects the joy of Christ’s birth with His saving sacrifice.

The Martyrs | Littlest Saints
This episode tells the story of a young Christian girl imprisoned in ancient Rome. As she listens to the stories of martyrs like St. Catherine of Alexandria and St. Lawrence the Deacon, she must decide if she has the courage to remain faithful. This powerful story helps children understand bravery, trust in God, and standing firm in faith.

Martyrs and Monastics
Dr. Ben Akers speaks with Dr. Elizabeth Klein about the early Church martyrs and the rise of monastic life. This discussion explores who the martyrs were, what inspired their witness, and how their faith helped shape the Church. It also looks at how monasticism grew from the same desire to give one’s life fully to Christ.
