St. Justin Martyr Parish has formed an ACTS Core Team, whose purpose is to promote and facilitate the ACTS Retreat at our parish. The mission of ACTS retreats includes four main elements;
- Adoration: Responding through prayer and worship to receiving God’s gifts of grace, mercy and love.
- Community: Living and participating in the One Body of Christ as Church, beginning with the parish.
- Theology: Deepening our relationship with God through prayerful study to better understand and fulfill His will for our lives.
- Service: Answering the call to discipleship by following the model that Christ gave us.
The ACTS Core Team is made up of individuals from the parish who have agreed to this mission. We are a parish committee and we invite everyone’s participation. Our first meeting is scheduled for August 1st at 8pm in the Gathering Space. For more details, connect with any of the ACTS Core Team members.
