Boys and girls entering grades K-5 are invited to join Cub Scout Pack 116. We will be spending a weekend at Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park from Friday July 30 to Sunday August 1. Cub Scout families are welcome to join us for all or part of the event.

We have reserved the group camping area with modern bathrooms and a shower house. There is also a large pavilion. From here we can visit the shut-ins, Elephant Rocks, or Taum Sauk mountain.

You must register in advance.

Most families will bring their own tents. If you need to borrow a tent, please let us know beforehand. We also have other camping gear. Meals will be included. Fee to be decided.

Cub Scouting provides a year-round program where boys and girls gather with their friends for fun activities. Along the way, they develop social skills, grow in confidence, and learn about faith, physical fitness, science, nature, and more.

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. It doesn’t matter if you go to SJM School, public school, home school, or another school. You are welcome to join Cub Pack 116.

Contact Cubmaster Jeannine Szatkowski for more information or if your son or daughter is interested in joining us.
