Students entering 5th grade and older are invited to take part in altar server training at St. Justin Martyr. This is a special chance to serve at Mass and grow in faith while learning more about the beauty of the liturgy. Serving at the altar is both a responsibility and a meaningful way to be more involved in parish life.
Training sessions will be offered several times throughout the summer with flexible scheduling. Families will be able to choose times that work best for them and continue to manage their serving schedule going forward. This makes it easy to stay involved while balancing other commitments.
Altar serving also helps young people grow in leadership, confidence, and reverence. It is a simple but important way to take part in the life of the Church and serve the parish community in a visible and meaningful role.
