Divine Mercy Sunday Celebration at St. Justin Martyr

By

Sunday, April 12, 2026

Join us for Divine Mercy Sunday as we reflect on the great gift of God’s mercy. This special feast will be observed on Sunday, April 12. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed immediately after the 9:00 AM Mass. All are invited to stay and take part in this time of prayer and trust in the Lord.

Jesus spoke of this feast as a place of refuge for all souls, especially for those who feel far from Him. He promised that those who go to Confession and receive Holy Communion with trust in His mercy will receive complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. This is a beautiful invitation to return to Him with confidence.

To prepare, consider going to Confession before Divine Mercy Sunday and remaining in a state of grace. You are also encouraged to pray the Divine Mercy Novena, which begins on Good Friday and ends the day before the feast. Acts of mercy, whether through kind words, helpful actions, or prayer, are also an important part of living this devotion.

Pamphlets will be available to help you learn more about the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Novena. We hope you will join us as we come together to pray and receive the grace Jesus longs to give.
