Advent by Candlelight is an event focusing on the Christmas season. It’s meant for women to take a break from holiday stress and reflect on the birth of Christ. The event features food, music, and teaching. It’s scheduled for Sunday, December 3rd, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the SJM Parish Center. Jen Ryan, the Director of Pastoral Education at Kenrick Glennon Seminary, will speak. All women can attend for free, but there will be a voluntary offering at the end. Tables are hosted by individuals who decorate and set places for up to 10 guests. Reservations can be made online through Faith Direct, or by contacting Marge at the provided email. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
