All Souls Day

Saturday, November 2, 2024

As you know from past years, the Church has set aside the month of November to remember our beloved dead. At St. Justin’s, we honor our deceased family members in a number of ways:

  • The book of prayer intentions placed on a memorial table in our sanctuary.
  • The display of deceased family member photos on our memorial table.
  • A special memorial Mass for all deceased family members, especially those who have died within the past year.

This year’s memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 2, at 9:00 a.m. If any of our parish family has experienced a miscarriage, and would like to have their loved one(s) remembered, please send us that information, and we will honor them also at that Mass.

We hope many other parishioners will attend this memorial Mass to honor their own deceased loved ones and support those parishioners whose loss is so recent. There will be a reception after Mass for all attendees. Please use the “Prayer Intention Sheet” for the names of your loved ones whom you would like remembered at all Masses in November.

Bring your prayer intention sheet and family member photos to church. Please put the name of the deceased on the photo as this personalizes the individual to all the parish community who may not have known that person. Place these items in the gathering space.

Any questions, please contact Deacon Mark Jaeger at 314-709-1957.
