Hello SJM Community,
I just wanted to send a quick note requesting some prayers and support for the Luczak Family. They have two teenagers in our Parish School of Religion Program, CJ in 8th grade and Joey in 6th grade. Last weekend, they experienced a sudden tragedy when their home caught on fire. The family members are okay, but the house is in need of great repair. Currently, the Luczak Family is living in a hotel due to all the damages.
We have already begun attempts to find them a more stable living arrangement during the house construction. The family is requesting lots of prayers and any food gift cards since they do not have access to a kitchen at the moment. We will be collecting gift cards all this week, so please deliver any donations to Marge Kathalynas in the school or by dropping off at the parish rectory.
Please keep Scott and Corie Luczak and their children in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. We will notify you later on if there are additional ways, we can offer assistance.
