Christians, in particular, realize that their responsibility within creation and their duty towards nature and the Creator are an essential part of their faith.
St. John Paul II
Duty to nature goes hand in hand with Duty to God. At this month’s Pack meeting, Cub Scouts will visit Powder Valley Nature Center. We will go for a little hike (weather permitting) and we will explore the exhibits in the center to learn how to be responsible stewards of God’s creation.
Cub Scouting provides a year-round program where boys and girls in K-5 gather with their friends for fun activities. Along the way, they develop social skills, grow in confidence, and learn about faith, physical fitness, science, nature, and more.
Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. It doesn’t matter if you go to SJM School, public school, home school, or another school. You are welcome to join Cub Pack 116.
Contact Cubmaster Jeannine Szatkowski for more information or if your son or daughter is interested in joining us.
