Mission Carnival Cancellation Affects ProPapa Missions America

By

Every year in late March or early April the SJM School’s Student Council hosts a Mission Carnival to raise money for the ProPapa Missions of America.  Fr. John Mayer’s sister (she is a nun) works for this wonderful organization whose mission is to help the poor in Honduras.  Typically, the SJM School Mission Carnival raises about $1000 for the ProPapa Missions.  They count on this money every year, but with the “Shelter in Place” order, we could not host our Mission Carnival.  So we are asking for your help.

Normally families spend about $3-5/child for the Carnival.  If you could spare $5 for the ProPapa Missions, we will not have to disappoint them this year.  You can send your donation directly to the SJM Rectory through the mail or donate online by going to FaithDirect.net and make a one-time payment.  Please clearly note that your donation is for the ProPapa Missions of America. We thank you for supporting this worthwhile organization.
