Our food collection for Scouting for Food netted about 225 boxes of food at just our parish collection point. Thanks to
- the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts who distributed and collected the bags
- the 8th graders and high school students who boxed the food
- the parents who delivered the food to the Crestwood fire house
- and everyone who donated
Locally this service project collects about 2 million cans of food every year. The food is stored at the St. Louis Area Foodbank for distribution to 500 area food pantries.
