I was working on making a pillow while I was teaching classmates how to sew too!
In Makerspace I’m making a string lantern. I’m using balloons for the shape of the lantern.
Today I made a DIY Vera Bradley bag. I had to sew both sides of the zipper and all four corners. Surprisingly, it was my first time using a sewing machine!
We went to Hidden Valley for some tubing and then went to Starbucks for a social afterwards. This event was sponsored by Gravois Trails Venturing. Click on the images below to see the large version.
We were very busy in Makerspace this week.
Life Teen sent us a snowman kit and there was snow on President’s Day. No other explanation necessary!
Our First graders have been working on teamwork, brainstorming ideas, planning and executing a series of engineering challenges.
13 teens and 5 adults made a pilgrimage to Washington DC for the March for Life. We also attended Mass every day, heard some great music, and listened to many interesting speakers. Click on the images below to see the large version.
Today our 4 year olds from Room 2 were construction workers. They used lots of different materials, like Legos, Zoobs, and good old-fashioned Lincoln Logs, to build lots of creative structures.
