National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) Convention, 2015

The National Catholic Education Association 2015 convention began today in Orlando, Florida. This morning Mrs. Bartolotta and Judy Talleur presented a session on Maker Education to educators from around the country, entitled “Embed a Maker Program within Your Existing Curriculum to Enhance Learning Outcomes.”

Although the Maker movement is spreading across the country, St. Justin Martyr Schools is the first Catholic school in St. Louis to begin a program, thanks to Mrs. B’s vision and support. Our program fits into and enhances all SJM is doing to strengthen our STREAM (Science-Technology-RELIGION-Engineering-Arts-Math) curriculum.
